More than 90 admitted patients have been left waiting for beds at the region’s main hospital for the forth day in a row.
The latest INMO figures show there were 95 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 41 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is almost double the next busiest facility in the country; Sligo University Hospital, and comes on a day when 430 patients were waiting for beds at hospitals nationwide.
