9% of Graduates Working In Mid-West

A new report shows that there’s a huge urban-rural divide among where Irish university graduates go for work.

The Higher Education Authority found over half of 2016 graduates are employed in either Dublin or Cork nine months after they leave university.

Outside of the main cities, the West and Mid-West have the highest proportion of employed graduates, with 9% each.
