86 On Trolleys At UHL

There’s been a slight decrease in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital today.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 86 people on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 42 of those in the Emergency Department.

It’s a drop of 3 on yesterday’s figure and is almost 2 dozen higher than the next busiest facility.
