85% Of Ukrainians In State Accommodation In Clare Are In Hotels

Around 85 percent of Ukrainian refugees who have come to county Clare since the onset of war and have sought accommodation from the State are in hotels.

Figures released through the Oireachtas show there are 2,163 Ukrainians being supported by the State in this county, with more than 1,800 of those being sheltered in hotel accommodation.

A further 162 are in hostels in the county, 45 are in B&B’s, with the remaining 94 in accommodation described as ‘other’ by the Department of Integration.
