822 people were vaccinated at Ennis’ walk in centre at Treacy’s West County Hotel over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
They were part of 30,000 people who availed of the 27 facilities nationwide, with the HSE saying the demand outstripped their expectations.
The walk-in centres may be extended as a result.
