University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded facility in the country today.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation recorded 81 patients on trolleys at Dooradoyle during this mornings rounds with 26 of these presenting at the Emergency Department.

The Midwest Regions main hospital registered 15 more patients on trolleys than the next busiest facility at University Hospital Galway.
It comes on a day when 501 patients are without hospital beds nationwide.
