77 Patients On Trolleys Today At University Hospital Limerick

University Hospital Limerick remains the most overcrowded facility in the country.

However trolley numbers have dipped significantly today, with the INMO recording 77 patients waiting for beds at Dooradoyle during morning rounds, 30 of those in the emergency department.

It comes on a day when 593 people are waiting for beds in Irish hospitals nationwide.
