75 year old caught up in bookmakers raid describes ordeal

An elderly Ennis man threatened at gunpoint during an armed raid at a local bookmakers has described how he took cover for fear shots were fired.

75 year old Jimmy Cox was one of two customers in Ladbrokes on The Turnpike when two men armed with a sawn-off shotgun and a knife entered the premises shortly after seven thirty on Saturday night.
