73 On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

The level of overcrowding has risen significantly once again today at the region’s main hospital.

The latest figures from the INMO show three were 73 people waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 47 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is 34 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when 351 patients were left waiting for beds in hospitals across the country.
