72 On Trolleys At Region’s Main Hospital

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dipped today, though University Hospital Limerick remains by far the busiest in the country.

The latest INMO figures show there were 72 patients waiting for beds there this morning, 41 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is down 11 on yesterday, but is still almost two dozem more than the next busiest facility.
