Around 700 students will gather in Shannon Airport today where they'll be asked for their vision of what Ireland will look like in 50 years time.
The ITLG Young Innovators event, which is being run in association with LIT, sees young people from schools right across the country explore how society will live, work, play, shop, learn and travel, half a century away.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various companies as well as experts in future technologies from the third level sector, while the team with the best idea will receive a trip to Silicon Valley in California.
