The Government's to make 70 million euro available for repairs after the flood and storm damage.

Funding will be given to local authorities who've submitted cost breakdowns of damage done to public infrastructure over the past eight weeks,
This includes Clare County Cuoncil, which is expected to get the largest allocation of any local authority. However, it's not known whether the full 36.8 million euro damage bill will be covered.
The money comes on top of a 25 million euro fund sanctioned for humanitarian relief efforts in flooded homes and businesses.
