65 homes in Clare have been returned to their former glory under the Vacant Property Refurbishment Scheme.
Since it was launched back in June of 2022, over €3.7m worth of grants have been paid out in this county.

The scheme applies to properties built before 2008 that have been unoccupied for at least two years, with up to €50,000 funding available for vacant buildings and €70,000 for derelict dwellings.
Deputy Mayor of Clare Fine Gael Councillor Mary Howard believes the grant could be even more successful by extending the time limit for completion of works.
