62 On Trolleys At UHL

The level of overcrowidng at the region’s main hospital is climbing again.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 62 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 28 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department.

The overall number is 19 more than the next busiest facility and is up by 15 on yesterday’s figure.
