As many as 600-hundred new jobs are to be created across the country following four separate announcements.
Swissport Ireland Ltd. is set to grow its ground handling services at Dublin Airport with the creation of over 200 new jobs.
Seperatly, APC Limited a pharmaceutical research company based at Cherrywood in Dublin has announced the creation of 100 new jobs to develop medicines to treat cancer and HIV.
Also in Dublin, the old Charlemont Clinic is set to be turned into a hotel with the creation of 100 jobs.
Meanwhile, US pharmaceutical company – MSD – says it will create 200 new positions by the end of the year.
110 new posts will be created at the firms site in Carlow, with a further 50 new jobs in Cork while 40 new positions will be created in Tipperary.
