600 homes in parts of South East Clare are facing water disruption overnight tonight.
Irish water has confirmed that a burst water mains affecting areas surrounding Kilmurry, Kilkishen, Quin and Sixmilebridge has been successfully repaired earlier today.

However, a second burst happened close to the site of the first one later this afternoon.
Crews have had to postpone repair works due to traffic management issues and failing light.
Works are due to resume at first light tomorrow, with crews expected to be on site by 7.30am.
Homes in the area may experience low water pressure overnight tonight and Irish Water is appealing to residents not to use washing machines or dishwashers until tomorrow.
