More than 600 people have closed their Pandemic Unemployment Payment claims to return to work in Clare in the last three weeks.
It comes as more than 10,200 people in this county received the government support earlier this week.
It’s a fall of more than 700 on the number of people here who were relying on the benefit at the beginning of 2021.

Nationally, more than 420,000 people are still claiming the payment, a fall of less than 1,000 in the last seven days.
