60 per cent of parents will get into debt to fund third-level education for their children according to a survey.

The annual survey – carried out by the Irish League of Credit Unions – looked at financial issues facing both students and parents.
It shows an increase in the number of college students living at home and working throughout the academic year to support themselves.
