Six motorists have been caught speeding so far in Ennis as part of national slow down day.
During an operation at Droichead Na Gabhar Bridge today, the roads policing unit recorded a number of motorists travelling over the 30KM per hour limit.

The vehicles in question were all identified travelling at least 15km per hour over the limit, with one Ford Saloon travelling 28KM per hour above at 58km per hour.
All of the motorists will be issued with three penalty points and a €160 fine.
