59 On Trolleys At UHL

There’s been a small increase in the number of people on trollies at the region’s main hospital over the Bank Holiday weekend.

There are 59 people waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick this morning according to the INMO – up from 56 on Friday.

It’s almost double the number waiting at the next busiest facility, Cork University Hospital.

There are 253 patients waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country today – almost a quarter of them at UHL.
