57 Awaiting Beds In UHL

Nurses say 57 people have been left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick.

The INMO’s latest trolleywatch analysis shows there were 35 people waiting on trolleys in the new emergency department this morning, with a further 22 in overflow areas of wards.

It’s 20 more than the next busiest facility.

It comes on a day when 432 people have been left waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
