54 Patients On Trolleys At UHL Today

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise once again.

The latest figures from the INMO show 54 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 33 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figures is 18 more than the next busiest facility, on a day when 386 patients are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
