51 families will be moving into their new homes in the coming week following the completion of two schemes in Ennis and Sixmilebridge.

Aisling comprises 23 three and four-bed houses, while Lios Anama consists of 28 three and four beds homes.

The modern high-quality homes are located within reach of local services, schools and amenities and come fitted with internal heating systems, kitchens and bathrooms.

The families moving into the homes have been drawn from Clare’s Social Housing List, with some being taken out of overcrowded accomodation or homelessness.

The schemes have been funded through a collaborative process involving Clare County Council, the Housing Finance Agency and the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government.

While homes in the Aisling development were provided through NAMA’s special purpose company, NARPS, which was established to expedite social housing delivery.
