Over 50,000 euro has been raised to bring a terminally ill Clare man home from Australia.
Dysart native Brian Meere was diagnosed with a brain tumour last June and underwent surgery but has since received the devastating diagnosis that he only has a short time left to live.
As the 46-year old was the sole earner supporting his partner and three children in Perth prior to his illness, family and friends back home have been raising funds to secure their future after Brian passes.

Brian’s made it back to Dublin and his brother Noel Meere is hopeful that he may be able to return to Clare tomorrow evening.
