The world's largest aircraft leasing company has announced that it has created over 100 jobs in Ireland.

It's understood that 50 of the roles with AerCap are based in its Shannon office, while people have already been hired.
The positions are in a range of highly-skilled roles and local government representatives say it's proof that the strategy of creating an independent Shannon Airport, and using this to drive job creation, is working.
Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen says fifty of those jobs will be based in Shannon.
