Clare FM has won five prizes at the 2014 PPI Radio Awards.
The stations coverage of the storms in January and February of this year led to three bronze awards in the Best News Story, Best News Bulletin and Best Current Affairs Programme categories.

Morning Focus presenter John Cooke received a silver award in the Best Speech Broadcaster category while Clare FM's GAA commentator Syl O'Connor took home the bronze prize in the Best Sports Broadcaster category at the prestigious national awards held in Kilkenny last night.
