4th night of Belfast rioting

Police in Belfast continued to clash with crowds during a fourth night of violence in the North.

Across the city, missiles, petrol bombs and blast bombs were thrown at PSNI officers, and tyres and vehicles were set alight.

East Belfast was badly affected and some roads were closed.

Disturbances have been ongoing since police enforced a ruling that an Orange Order parade couldn’t march through the Ardoyne on Friday.

The PSNI says they are working with community representatives to restore calm and the DUP has condemned the use of a nail bomb.
