Meat Industry Ireland is calling for negotiations over beef pricing to be conducted through face to face meetings and not blockades.

Their comments come as farmers across the country countine to demostration outside of 14 meat factories, this is due to finish up later this afternoon.
Vested interests will meet at the beef forum tomorrow after the IFA 48 hour protest over the course of the last 3 days.
One of those taking part in the picket at the APB plant in Nenagh is Michael Culhane from Killaloe.
He says farmers feel forced into the action.
