The Number of termination notices issued to tenants in Clare has increased by over 40% following the end of the moratorium on no fault evictions.
The latest figures from the Residential Tenancies Board show that approximately 76 notices to quit were issued here in the second quarter of 2023.

The figure is up 22 from the 54 notices issued in the county between January and March.
However the number is a notable reduction from the 82 terminations issued here in the month’s proceeding the initial imposition of the eviction ban between July and September of 2022.
In total 274 renters have recieved a notice to quit in this county in the last nine months.
