Clare saw the completion of one third more houses throughout last year than in 2023.
New Central Statistics Office data show that scheme homes were the most frequently built in the Banner in 2024.
Last year saw the completion of 539 new dwellings across the county.
This represents a 33% increase in the number of new homes in Clare in a year, with 404 completions seen in 2023.
There was also an increase seen in the number of homes built in the final quarter of last year compared to 2023.
2024 saw construction finish on 145 homes between October and December, up 17% from the 124 during the same time span a year previously.
Of the projects finished in 2024, 315 were scheme houses, which are houses funded by Clare County Council that are made available to first time and other eligible buyers.
Last year also saw the completion of 18 apartments, while development on 206 single homes was also finalised.
