Clare Gardaí have now issued a total of 327 COVID related fines.
They’re among the 16,400 individuals have been fined for breaches of the Covid restrictions since fines were introduced at the start of February.

The number of fines in Clare is relatively small, as a lower number of sanctions have only been recorded in five of the country’s 27 other Garda Divisions.
Nationally, three-quarters of offenders are male and over half are aged from 18-25, while nearly a quarter of fines have been issued on Sundays.
