3 people arrested by Gardaí as as part of an ongoing investigation into a series of aggravated burglaries in West Clare have been released.
The 2 men and 1 woman were detained in the Miltown Malbay area on Wednesday night as part of a joint operation between officers in Kilrush and Ennistymon.
The arrests came following Gardaí investigations into recent aggravated burglaries targeting elderly people with incidents reported in Kilmihil, Moyasta, Kilmaley, and Inagh.
The suspects – all in their 20’s were questioned by Gardaí at Ennis and Kilrush stations yesterday – the two men were released without charge last night, the woman was released without charge by order of the High Court.
Gardaí say files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
