28 thousand to pass through Shannon Airport over Easter

Almost 30 thousand people are expected to jet in and out of Shannon Airport over the Easter Break.

Figures from the DAA expect a similar number to pass through Cork while over 200 thousand passengers will go through Dublin between Friday and Monday.

The same number of people are expected travel by rail to be with family and friends over the Bank Holiday while Bus Eireann estimates that around a quarter of a million journeys will be taken on its routes between tomorrow and next Tuesday.
