26th Tour De Munster To Arrive In Ennis This Friday

The 26th iteration of the Tour De Munster is set to pass through Clare later this week.

The four day tour, in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland, will depart Cork city on August 6th before travelling 600km around the province and arriving back on Leeside on August 9th.

The 100 strong peloton, spearheaded by Sean Kelly, will ride through the county on Friday, arriving at The Temple Gate Hotel at 11:30am to meet with representatives of of Down Syndrome Clare.

Over €5.2 million has been raised through the years and DS Clare Chairperson, Donal Monaghan, says the funds raised are vital for the operation of the Clare branch.
