A North Clare postmaster believes a 30 million euro Government package for the post office network will help keep branches open in this county.
The investment over a three year period is set to see each post office subvented to the tune of up to €12,000 per year.

The measure is to support around 900 post offices across the country, with more than 20 of those located in Clare.
Speaking with Clare FM’s Josh Prenderville, Ennistymon postmaster and local Fianna Fail Councillor Shane Talty says it’s the first ‘concrete sign’ of a Government commitment to the network.
