Drugs worth over one thousand euro have been seized in Clarecastle under Operation Tara.
Shortly before 1.30 last Thursday afternoon, detectives attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a search under warrant at a house in the area and durnig the course of the operation, a quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis herb was seized.

A man and a woman, both in their early thirties, were arrested at the scene and detained at Ennis Garda Station, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Both have since been released from custody and a file is now being prepared for submission to the DPP.
