Two million euro is set to be pumped into projects right around the country including here in Clare for The Gathering next year.
Making the announcement this morning Taoiseach Enda Kenny says the nationwide event will play a huge role in the country’s economic recovery.

Meanwhile the steering group tasked with co-coordinating events in Clare believe it could attract up to 20 thousand international visitors to the banner county.
With a range of events taking place across Clare, including clan gatherings, and a revival of the Festival of Finn in Corofin, it’s also claimed that 10 million euro could be generated for the local economy.
