Two people have been charged in connection with the murder of Northern Ireland Prison Officer David Black.
36 year old Damien Joseph McLaughlin from Dungannon was brought before the courts in the north today and was charged with the murder of the father of two who was shot on a motorway in Armagh.
He’s been remanded in custody and will re-appear in court on January the 4th.
The in Dublin 44 year-old Vincent Banks from Smithfield Gate Apartments, has been charged over withholding information about the murder of the father-of-two, and membership of the IRA.
Banks was granted legal aid, and will appear again in Court tomorrow where for the issue of bail to be addressed.
