Gardai in Gort have arrested two men in connection with the seizure of a hundred thousand euro worth of cannabis plants and cannabis herb.

100 mature cannabis plants and around one kilo of cannabis herb was found when a premises in Derrawee West in Derrybrien was searched yesterday.
A 40 year old man has been charged and is to appear before Gort District Court on October 24th.
A 21 year old man who was also arrested at the scene has been released without charge and a file is being sent to the DPP.
