More Than 2.3 Million Spent On Energy Upgrades In Clare Social Homes Since 2019

More than 2.3 million euro has been spent on energy upgrade works on social homes in Clare in the last three years.

Figures obtained by Clare FM show 98 of Clare County Council’s near 2,500 residences have been upgraded since 2019.

It comes after the Government announced that more than 36,000 local authority houses will be retrofitted in the next decade under the National Retrofit Programme.
