19 children have been adopted from Vietnam by Clare families since 1998.
The findings are contained in the latest intercountry report from the Adoption Authority of Ireland.

The years between 2007 and 2009 were the peak periods in the number of children adopted from the South East Asian country, with the average age of children being taken in here at 14 years old.
The report states that 914 Vietnamese children in total have been adopted nationwide between 1998 and 2020.
