The 175th anniversary of the birth of GAA Founder Michael Cusack was celebrated at in Carron this morning
GAA President Larry McCarthy attended the event along representatives from Munster GAA, Clare County Council, the Clare county board, Limerick and Clare Education Training Board, and Failte Ireland.

Mr. McCarthy unveiled a memorial plaque and planted an ash tree in Cusack’s honour at the popular visitor attraction .
Representatives of the Michael Cusack Centre will place a wreath at the foot of the Michael Cusack statue outside Cusack Park in Ennis on Tuesday.
