16 Pharmacies In Clare Offer Safe Space For Domestic Violence Victims

16 pharmacies in Clare are now offering a safe space for victims of domestic violence or coercive control.

Safe Pharmacy is a new initiative being led by the Irish Pharmacy Union, in partnership with Safe Ireland, an Garda Síochána and the HSE.

Participating pharmacies will display a purple ‘Safe Pharmacy’ symbol on their window and will provide private access to a telephone in their consultation rooms where those seeking help can contact domestic violence services, the Gardaí or family members and friends.
