There has been a rise in the number of new cars registered in Clare in the past month.
The latest figures from the Society of Motor Industry show a 16% jump in new cars sold in the county with 1,359 new registrations recorded in the county in between January and June, compared with 1,164 in the same period last year.

Nationally new car registrations more than doubled in June this year.
Director General if the SIMI, Brian Cooke hopes this signals a turning point for the industry.
