Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show the 1,528 people documented waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick was the highest number in the country.

It’s 12 percent higher than the next busiest facility, Cork University Hospital, and nearly double the numbers of University Hospital Galway.
Over 11,800 patients were documented on trolleys nationwide by the INMO this month.
