More than 150 people across Clare are currently waiting for a cataracts procedure.
Figures released through the Oireachtas show around a third of the 152 patients on a waiting list here are waiting more than six months, but less than a year.

16 people in this county are awaiting hip procedures, with a further 17 still in need of knee surgery.
Overall, 874 people across the counties of Clare, Limerick and Tipperary are waiting for either cataract, hip, knee or small volume procedures.
