423 people left the dole queues across the MidWest in February, bringing the total numbers signing on to 29,300.
That is 15% less than at the same point last year.
Full figures for Clare will be released later this week, while nationally, the unemployment rate has fallen again – by 0.2 per cent to 10.1 per cent in February.
The Live Register Figures from the Central Statistics Office show just over 355,000 people were signing on last month.
