Over 140 patients discharged from Ennis Hospital in May are being sought to urgently complete a feedback report.
With just five days to go until the deadline for the sixth annual National Inpatient Experience Survey, just 22% of the 186 patients eligible from Ennis General have taken part, which is the lowest uptake of any hospital nationwide.
The survey is a partnership between HIQA and the HSE and is designed to provide clear data to hospital management and identify improvements to patient care.
National Patient Care Experience Deputy Director Tracy O’Gara says participation is vital, as the results can lead to permanent change.
