A 14 year old boy was taken to hospital yesterday evening following a road traffic accident on the Sixmilebridge to Cratloe Road.

The boy, who gardai believe, was cycling his bicycle at the time between Cratloe Cross and Gorman Cross, was hit by a car at around 6.10pm.
He was airlifted to hospital in Cork, where his condition is described as stable.
