27 patients are being treated in intensive care units – up 1.
Meanwhile – the HSE’s chief clinical officer says the vaccine uptake at walk-in centres has exceeded all expectations.
Over 18-thousand people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 at walk-in clinics this weekend – including 10-thousand on Saturday and another 8-thousand yesterday.
Almost two-thirds who received a jab are aged 19 or under.
They’re open to those aged 16 and over who have yet to receive a first dose, and are operating in 26 locations today including at the West County Hotel in Ennis until 6pm.
